Free at Last, Free at Last

It’s been over 10 months since Bryan and I moved into our rental house on Olive St.  And in that 10 months I have not had one single night in the casa by myself.  Not one.  I surprisingly have not felt like I have needed space but I am actually super excited to have a little alone time while Bryan is off to the BTEC conference in L.A.  But not to get too ahead of ourselves, we did have one last good week before the week off…

M:  Leftover BBQ with Polly on the deck

T:  Made a Blue Apron meal together from the box that was accidentally ordered

W:  Headed to Shilshole marina for my Tauber Networking Dinner at Anthony’s Homeport with 52 of my fellow Tauberites, staff, and current students.  Had a great dinner of salmon, wine, salad, dessert and networking.  Also got a t-shirt and window decal from the Tauber staff…love the shirt!  Was told this was the largest alumni dinner for Tauber ever…but mainly because of Boeing’s strong presence within Tauber.

Th:  FareStart one more time with Bryan before our two weeks off; featuring Chandler’s Crabhouse with more awesome halibut, peas, jerusalem artichokes, beet salad, and pana cotta!

F:  Had an amazing dinner with Bryan in Madison Park at Cactus for Mexican food before heading to Menchie’s for $5 fill up your cup night.

This was one delicious dish of chicken, portabello, cotija, pepitas, chimichurri and another creamy sauce!

S:  Went to a Lorna Jane kickboxing class and then to our friend’s Beer Mile and grill out, I failed at Beer Mile but did good at eating!  The Turbokick class was literally the most fun exercise class I have ever taken!

S:  Drive Polly to the airport, church and Harvest Vine for Father’s Day brunch with Billy and Valerie, and another Blue Apron meal together that was extra good before Bryan’s send off (we froze our last one until he gets back)!
