Post birthday celebrations and post heat wave has led us into a cooling off period, one we are much grateful for in the time being. This allowed me to:
- Bake more peanut butter banana chocolate chip muffins
- Go out to a girls-only birthday sushi lunch with my coworkers
- Celebrate our friend Luis’ birthday without having to do any of the planning but just bringing a watermelon, feta, and mint salad
- Went out for dinner at Ivar’s with Bryan’s cousin, aunt and uncle for a really good time, good view and great dinner!
This was a bomb salmon meal; cedar-planked Alaskan sockeye with a blackberry sauce, hazlenut sauce underneath, sorrel cornbread pudding and asparagus. - Play kickball with my company and attend a BBQ after the game at one of my coworker’s houses for burgers and beers (Bryan came to the BBQ)
- Enjoy FareStart and a delicious meal but still getting home by 11 to go to sleep
- Finally enjoyed a quality brunch made in casa
- Attended church with Billy and Valerie and went back to their house for them to make us delicious omelets with my nectarine and blueberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream for dessert
- Have the energy to go to both of my circuit training classes this week (my quads kill!)
- Gave a bag of all of our leftover camping food to the homeless guy who is often shoe shining on the corner by my office
- Go for my long overdue weekend run on the docks
- Not cook one darn meal this week
- Finish watching the latest season of Orange is the New Black on Netflix
- Pick out a dress for the Dominican wedding
- Move one tomato plant to a bigger pot to save its life
- Figure out what to do with the two very large produce bags that we mistakenly ordered from the CSA
- Get take outTutta Bella pizza for a lazy Friday night at home
Holy moly was this an outstanding and unique pizza; lamb sausage, romesco sauce, artichoke, mint, and fresh mozzarella! - Got in to the intensely addictive show, True Detective, on HBO
- …And we got some rain!!!
