Photo Ready

What does it take to get ready for your engagement photos taken:

  1. Clean the house inside and out to host our photographer and keep me sane
    1. Vacuum everywhere
    2. Run the dishwasher
    3. Tidy up the backyard
    4. Tidy up the garage
    5. Clean out bedroom
    6. Prep the guest room with clean sheets and towels
    7. Furnish snack food
    8. Clean the kitchen counters and floors
  2. Get a free facial thanks to Skoah’s first time promo
  3. Have an awesome manicure to pretty up ring-flashing hand
  4. Figure out outfits super last minute (like 30 minutes upon their arrival)
  5. Get a free curly haircut and style thanks to Ouidad salon in Wallingford

Additionally, in the short time we had between L.A. and Mark and Kim’s arrival on Wednesday night Bryan and I enjoyed our last of the three Blue Apron meals that was delicious and filling and also enjoyed a night out for awesome small plates and cocktails at two neighboring spots; Tavern Law and the Old Sage.

First up was the most amazing beef short rib on sweet potato puree with watercress and an amazing old fashioned at the Old Sage.

I also got a promotional lunch out with a friend at the Frolik rooftop on a sunny Wednesday afternoon!

I have lived in Michigan all my life until I took a chance to move to the Pacific Northwest in 2011 after graduating from the University of Michigan. It has been a great adventure.
