28th Birthday Brilliance

I really did have a great birthday, all day, in honor of turning 28.  28!!!  Let’s look at all of the awesome things that happened to me on my birthday:

7:30am

Free barre class

9:00am

 Free cinnamon dolce latte from Starbucks on my walk into work

11:45am

Thai lunch with 8 of my coworkers at the site office

1:45pm

Got to talk to Grandma

4:45pm

Skidaddled out of work

5:15pm

Treated myself to home manicure and pedicure

5:45pm

Bryan came home and gave me flowers

6:00pm

Got to talk to the parents

7:00pm

Bryan and I walked to a FABULOUS dinner out at Cucina Spinasse…this dinner is worth                       elaborating on

Started with 2/3 bottle of the Barbarra wine

Were brought out an amuse buche of pate on crostini with balsamic

First course a shared soup of the special soup of the day, romanesco with fried speck

Second course of two half-sized portions of their specialty pastas, an agnolotti filled with braised veal and lamb in marjarom and a pheasant ragu with white wine with mafalda pasta

Main course of a braised boar shoulder over creamy parsnip puree and with trumpet mushrooms

Dessert course of their chocolate mousse with a crisp topping and with walnuts and raspberries on the side

They also brought me out a free espresso for my birthday alongside a deer candleholder that I got to blow out

EVERYTHING WAS SOOOOOO GOOD!

9:30pm

Played Ms. Pacman at Vermillion, highest score attained was 130,000 in three games

10:30pm 

Walked home and instantly fell asleep

And now I am 28!
