Preparation Time

This week has been all about preparing; for the upcoming trip to Michigan, for Valentine’s day, for a project that is not starting until August, for everything…

Monday:  Mystery box challenge and Olympics-watching with Bryan’s roommates and preparing for staying at my Lee House with my roommates furthermore.

Tuesday:  7-hour long meeting for gearing up for the 90% design of Brooklyn Station (my first assignment at Jacobs 2.5 years ago).  Boxed lunches = no breaks.  SEAW Happy Hour at PF Changs for some delicious dumplings, lettuce wraps, and spicy green beans.

Wednesday:  Preparing to take the PE exam again as I finally got approved by the Washington state board.  Dinner and a glass of wine with Marika at Bellini Italian Bistro in Belltown before heading home to pack for my trip.

Thursday:  Preparing last minute action items for the recruiting trip, making sure everything is set and everything is packed.  FareStart with a bunch of my favorite people for the FareStart chef night that was absolutley divine.

Friday:  Preparing for Valentine’s Day of which we are just taking it easy and I’m getting dinner made for me at home.  And preparing for my flight tonight!!!
