I needed some rejuvenation to end the year and begin the new year after our trip to the East Coast. That indeed I got.
- A brewskie and a good meal to watch some Texas and Tech football. Best meal I’ve had yet at Eastlake Bar and Grill with a nice cold and strong Diamond Knot Possession Porter
Chop chop salad was ridiculously good with grilled chicken, bacon, blue cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, and smoked buttermilk dressing. - A home-cooked meal of smoked chicken by the boy after working on NYE day
- Live music and champagne toast back at Eastlake Bar and Grill for NYE
- Trial membership at Anytime Fitness
- Free day at MOHAI (Museum of History and Industry) with civil engineering exhibit on display
- Veggie Grill healthfulness and testing out a new menu item, the harvest bowl
Veggie Grill Harvest Bowl with field roast sausage, power grains, roasted veggies, porcini miso gravy and hemp seeds. Very good! - Rejuvenated by a day with Polly
- Football games galore
- Dinner and a movie with Brittany, Polly, Philipp and girl, and Bryan on Friday night
- Secret Life of Walter Mitty in the theaters was heartwarming and fun
- First time trying Local 360 in Belltown, pretty good food and fun atmosphere
Spicy chicken wings. I love brussels…with bacon!! - Skiing with just Bryan on Saturday at Stevens, sunny day
- Delicious post-skiing dinner at Tropicos Breezes (Columbian) with live music even
Molacajete, a national dish of carne asada (perfected), chorizo sausage, avocado, queso fresco, nopales (cactus), and green onions in a bowl of delicious and spicy tomato sauce, served with homemade and the best I have ever had corn tortillas to make your own “like-fajitas) They even let me replace the rice and beans on the side with yucca frita. Happy!!! - A Yelp Elite barre class on Sunday that kicked my butt
- Pizza and Redbox Sunday night
