Career Goals and Objectives

Describe your area(s) of strength:
My strengths include written communication, organizational skills, and knowledge of RISA, Excel and Visual Basics. I can provide organized and concise results of assigned tasks in an efficient manner.

Describe how you plan to utilize your strength(s) in your position in the coming year:
I plan to use my strengths towards the development and contribution towards North Link project deliverables. I plan to provide my knowledge of RISA and other computer programs to my colleagues as well as use their application towards project deliverables. I plan to provide organized results to meet all project deadlines on time.

Describe an area(s) for focus or a behavior that you would like to change, improve or develop:
I would like to improve my formatting and presentation of calculations by following the best practices for submittal of structural calculations. I would also like to strengthen my knowledge of geotechnical engineering properties, designs and analysis. Finally, I would like strengthen my proficiency of computer applications used for modeling, design and analysis.

Performance Goals and Objectives:
Become proficient in SAFE, Autocad, and RISA 2D/3D. Participate in the production of at least 4 major deliverables for the North Link project. Anticipated Completion

Development Goals and Objectives:

    Pursue obtaining my P.E. certification by improving prior civil engineering knowledge and learning new material through applications and studying. By: End of 2013
    Become an active member of SEWA by attending at least 4 SEWA events. By: July 2012
    Become a LEED Green Associate by studying and taking the exam. By: July 2012
    Submit a technical report for a structural/civil engineering conference. By: End of 2013
